BEATIE
BEATIE has been busy travelling around the UK attending our Healthy Heart Events if you see her give us a wave!
We are looking for people who may be unaware that they are at risk of heart failure. Quick diagnosis results in better patient outcomes and helps people live well with the condition. We are working with the NHS to offer blood pressure checks, Alivecor (portable ECG) traces and, if appropriate, a finger prick blood test to detect a risk for heart failure. Any members of the public with results that could indicate further investigation being needed will be provided with a letter to present to their GP to arrange follow-up checks.
