Parliamentary Heart Failure Inquiry

Parliamentary Heart Failure Inquiry Discussion Sessions

INVITATION: Discussion Sessions for APPG Heart Failure Inquiry

The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Heart Disease (a group of MPs and Peers with an interest in this issue) is currently holding an Inquiry into living with heart failure. The Heart Failure Inquiry is covering the diagnosis, treatment and care, both in hospital and the community, of people with heart failure.

The APPG will produce a short report later in the year that makes key recommendations to improve the outcomes and experience of people living with heart failure.

The Pumping Marvellous Foundation, Cardiomyopathy UK, the Cardiovascular Care Partnership and the British Heart Foundation, would like to invite you to join a discussion session to tell us about your experience of living with heart failure. Insights from these discussions will be fed into the Heart Failure Inquiry.

We are hosting the sessions in three locations:
• Manchester – Wednesday 15th June, 11am – 2:30pm
o Pioneer Suite, 3 Canal Street, Manchester M1 3HE
• London – Wednesday 22nd June, 11am – 2:30pm
o British Heart Foundation, Greater London House, 180 Hampstead Road, London NW1 7AW
• Birmingham – Thursday 23rd June, 11am – 2:30pm
o 5th & 7th floor Colmore Gate, Birmingham B3 2QD

Lunch will be provided and all travel expenses covered.
